I have watched with sorrow and amusement how men and women with "privileged positions" in the society, rejoice, merry and disrespect those whom they perceive as unprivileged. With a deep heart, I have painfully read the braggadocio hatred on Instagram posts, tweets, and Facebook Posts. The attitude of "It's our time to eat", "Kwani Mtado?", "Catch me if you can" is well illustrated on the posts. Celebrations, Joy, and Merry when evil and injustices are meted on the supposed sons and daughters of "the Negroes" is much appalling, reminds me of John and Dan. Once upon a time, there were two gentlemen John and Dan, "Both John and Dan grew up together in the same neighborhood, played together and were best of friends. Dan was from a well-off family, whereas John's family was of peasant farmers who could barely afford a meal. Several years later, life happens and Dan is now a big man in the city and John still hustling...
