| I am A Blessing To You |
I am a stranger, that should give you a good reason not to read what I am going to say, that's okay but have you ever imagined that strangers could be angels carrying your blessings? Definitely I am a stranger with no blessings, or how are you going to receive my supposed blessings to you? Through these words? No. I am not carrying any blessings for you, at least not today. Since you have just read my first paragraph, you may as well continue to read my second one, and the third one, and the fourth one, and the fifth one, am I even going to stop urging you from reading the rest of the paragraphs where I have a hidden treasure for you?
Today I will help you see why you are going to call this Stranger a blessing to you at the end of this letter. I will help you give this stranger 100% marks and rank him the best of all strangers you have ever met in your life. So what does Mr. Stranger has to offer that other strangers haven't offered? Nothing, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Mr. stranger wanted you to accompany him read this second paragraph as he pushes you to the third one where he will satisfy your curiosity. Yes, because you still want to know why he is going to earn the 100% marks from you and yes because you haven't yet figured out why he is a blessing to you.
Its a win-win situation here, I tell you why I am a blessing to you and you give me the 100% marks and rank me among all the best strangers you have ever interacted with. And yes I satisfy your curiosity. I know you getting bored now, right? Sorry, we almost there, we almost at that point where I will become a blessing to you. But First of all, thank you very much for reading through my first, second and now third paragraph (Clap, Clap, Clap), you got so much patience and perseverance. Two crucial virtues I was looking for in that one person I was going to become a blessing to.
No, No, No. I am not offering Money. No I am not offering you ideas to make you wealthy. In fact I also need the money and ideas to make me wealth as Bill Gates. On this paragraph, I am here to speak to you as a friend. My main word is VALUE. Stranger says, you are a valuable asset to this world, let alone your family, let alone your friends. Same old story you have heard from everyone? Try this.
How about you (reading this) guarding your heart and not allowing the same things that upset you to keep on upsetting you? How about you forgetting the past and beginning afresh? We all agree, (you and I) that too often we are frustrated by difficulties; this is true, but have you ever thought of a harvest without some few weeds? You see sometimes you face challenges not because you are doing something wrong but because you are doing something right. PUSH ON.
If you are going to stand out and become the best, you must learn to act big. You must learn to pray and ask God, "Dear Lord I have this challenge and I want you to let it be a learning point for me." I want to become of great VALUE to the world, I want to discover my purpose on earth, my potentials, I want to stand out and be a Blessing to the World. As you walk towards becoming of Value to the world there are a few things you must learn. Same way for a person who has never become president, once he becomes one, he must begin acting like a president, he must learn how to live a different lifestyle with the trappings of power. I will take you through few of this tips I learned from Joel Osteen (Of Joel Osteen Ministries) to enable you stand out and become of value to the world.
- Identify your Mission. What do you want to do? a Writer? Poet? C.E.O? Entrepreneur? etc.,
- Pursue it. Lay down a strategy on how you going to stand out and be the best
- Stop criticizing yourself. Begin calling yourself strong, of value, respected, skilled, talented and ready to take charge.
- You can't stop people from saying things, You can't prevent the negative. Luckily enough? You don't have to allow it into your spirit.
- Be Selective with what you give time and attention to. Your destiny is too valuable to allow negativity in.
- When you are tempted to be discouraged, keep reminding yourself, "I am of Value" "An Asset to the World" and "God is my vindicator"
- Attitude is Key. If you have the right attitude, your difficulties wont hold you down, they'll refine you. They'll make you shine.
- God doesn't do mistakes He's already designed your life and laid out every piece,down to the smallest details.
- When you argue with God, He is always going to win. Save your breath and do what He is asking you the very first time. Doesn't he say in Jeremiah 29:11 that he has good plans for you?
- The enemy will label you everything you've done wrong. But God labels you, forgiven, redeemed and restored. Powerful!
- Keep being your best, honoring God, and He'll cause you to stand out, He'll cause you to be noticed.
- Its easy to get offended, Try a different approach. Drop it, leave it, let it go. God will fight your battles.
- Don't engage in every battle. If the battle is not between you and your destiny, its simply a distraction.
Finally friend (Should we now become friends? can I call you friend?); Your story has already been written. Your final scene has already been shot. You don't end in failure, you end in Victory. Bye for now, Bye Champion, Bye Bye the VALUABLE one!
