At age 14, his name had already begun making rounds in the tech and political cycles he designed an app to help students at his high school find their classrooms easily. Here he received Presidential Scholar Award from President Barack Obama.

The tech genius has some of the best inspirational advice.
His life’s philosophy and entrepreneurial drive.“Most people can see, but not everyone has vision!'
Life: He tells you “Stay true to your cause, once you abuse the relationship the universe starts to take you out of your path”
For Aspiring Business Persons: For anyone aspiring to build a business, Sandu says that you should ask yourself “How does my product or service help humanity, how does it advance the life of those in my community or society?”
More on achievements?
He has created mentoring and tutoring programs in L.A. as well as founded a new school for tech literacy in his native country of Ghana.
In 2019 he was the recipient of a $100,000 fellowship grant from Paypal founder Peter Thiel’s foundation aimed at promoting sustainable design and tech ideas amongst Africa’s youth.
Iddris Sandu also created in collaboration with Facebook the Black Mural Project. The project is an immersive experience for students to explore and learn about Black history as it was launched in February 2020.
His is a life of pure possibilities.
One thing I have come to learn, early childhood interests can grow into passion and life long world-changing ideas and impact. Good people, when you are blessed with a kid, please take a keen interest in the kid's preferences, as early as age 1, then go ahead and nurture those interests.
How many Iddris Sandus' would we have if parents took a keen interest in their kid's preference and interests from the word go? Think about that!
