IDDRIS SANDU, DIGITAL ARCHITECT GENIUS

IDDRIS SANDU, THE ULTIMATE 23 years old Tech GENIUS! Describe as the digital architect changing the landscape of tech, Ghanian born Iddris Sandu's teen life will shock you.

Look at the profile of a man who declined an offer to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology twice in order to be a change agent for African-American culture.
At age 13, he was an accomplished programmer, he was discovered in a library by a designer from Google who got him an internship at the Tech Company. He was reading texts about the theory of relativity and studying the German industrial designer Dieter Rams.
At age 14, his name had already begun making rounds in the tech and political cycles he designed an app to help students at his high school find their classrooms easily. Here he received Presidential Scholar Award from President Barack Obama.
At age 15, he was hired by Twitter to do data analytics.
At age 16, Instagram hired him
At age 17-18, he was a consultant for Snapchat
At age 19, Uber hired him as a consultant
At age 20, he helped rapper Nipsey Hussle create The Marathon Clothing, a smart store in Los Angeles that gives customers exclusive access to the rapper's content.
At 21 years, the genius worked in his company with a focus on fusing culture and technology, he has worked with music artists like Kanye West and Jaden Smith.

The tech genius has some of the best inspirational advice.

His life’s philosophy and entrepreneurial drive.“Most people can see, but not everyone has vision!'

Life: He tells you “Stay true to your cause, once you abuse the relationship the universe starts to take you out of your path”

For Aspiring Business Persons: For anyone aspiring to build a business, Sandu says that you should ask yourself “How does my product or service help humanity, how does it advance the life of those in my community or society?”

More on achievements?
He has created mentoring and tutoring programs in L.A. as well as founded a new school for tech literacy in his native country of Ghana. In 2019 he was the recipient of a $100,000 fellowship grant from Paypal founder Peter Thiel’s foundation aimed at promoting sustainable design and tech ideas amongst Africa’s youth.

Iddris Sandu also created in collaboration with Facebook the Black Mural Project. The project is an immersive experience for students to explore and learn about Black history as it was launched in February 2020.

His is a life of pure possibilities.

One thing I have come to learn, early childhood interests can grow into passion and life long world-changing ideas and impact. Good people, when you are blessed with a kid, please take a keen interest in the kid's preferences, as early as age 1, then go ahead and nurture those interests.

How many Iddris Sandus' would we have if parents took a keen interest in their kid's preference and interests from the word go? Think about that!

Mind Games. Just Who Is In Charge? ~ Diaries!

My Diaries 1. Author: Bree.K From my diaries, about Mind Games, and how the modern gal and the modern dude wanna control each other... Let me get this right, so what’s bae? Is it an acronym that stands for ‘ before anyone else ’ or the shortened version for baby or babe? (according to google). This word lost meaning to me after my last encounter in a  situation-ship , lol, let me just say the last encounter with a guy I shared most of my teenage memories with. (You know those stupid happy lovey lovey moments, when you are this hot high school gal, that every Tom, Dick & Harry is yearning for?) Story for another day... to be continued ... Back to mind games and I stand to be corrected; I don’t think anyone in my generation still believes in marriage...(Can't believe I just said that) Dating has to be the sweet-bitter experience, yes we hang out, take selfies with the magic selfie-stick, post them on instagram, create love stories with them on  snap chat ,...

Her So Far Away!

In Her Own World Life has always been a journey, a journey with lots and lots of challenges. A journey with both success stories and failure. A journey for the strong and the weak where time and chance happens to both but only the smart ones sail through. Look, on this journey of life, in my daily hustles and bustles, I meet lots of people, people who have had positive and negative impact in my life, in equal measures. And NO, my story is not on that line. My story is on "HER." Look, on this day I am walking out of my place of work and I spot  HER. You see, men can point out pointees amidst the crowd. True story; a pointee is a pointee if only she behaves like a pointee... so here I am stranded looking at this pointee, and yes, magic happens I get a smile. True to my male genes, by a split of a second I had her phone number, I had her name. Bingooooo!! I just scored. Couple of days later, thanks to WhatsApp, we were best friends, just like that, that's how it...

Listen to Them If You Have To, But Be Sober!!

A Happy Family! "...I will do all I can to keep my family intact.." a colleague once told me . So on this day we are out for lunch, me paying for a promise of lunch. As we discuss other issues, this topic of recent rise in cases of domestic violence and marriage break- ups, comes up. Several marriages are breaking up at a supersonic speed and the main course being one. Mpango Wa Kando (Side Chic/dude), .. A story is told of a friend who swore never to get married again after she found out that her man, her husband a believer had been keeping a side chic for the 2 years of their marriage. That must be painful eh?! On confrontation, the man blames the chic for tempting and seducing him.. (this must be the joke of the year). Listening to my colleague narrate the story as she curses and swears to do all she can in her powers to keep her marriage intact, I suddenly get lost in my wonder world wondering what is becoming of the institution of marriage. Just why can...
