Fellow Men, Light-skin ain't it all!

Marrying the right person is
the perfect gift of life
On this day, I am having a chat with some  friends most of them being male, and we are all talking about marriage, (Never mind the group consisted of single young adults). So everyone was so jovial and describing the type of lady they wanted to wife.

The outcome of the discussions made me pen this article. Each of them deemed beauty and in fact "Light-skin" as priority 1 for the lady they wanted to marry. Reason? they would give them cute kids and be presentable to the world. All a long, I kept quiet wondering why on earth would one want to keep a light-skin for the sole purpose of cute kids (What if the kids are cute, 'yes' but inherit mom's bad character?)Why please the world with a "Trophy Wife" while you get no peace in the house? below is what I told them.

Most pretty ladies, know that they are pretty, they know that all men will be behind their backs, so if you dating one, she will most likely make crazy demands and if you can't meet them, she will move on to the next guy. Why? She can get them by a snap of her fingers, that is the weakness of men with no life principles. Fall for her, because of her charming looks and not because of her character.

Light-skins, at least most of them, spend more time thinking how beautiful they are, and why the world must know and appreciate that fact. They drain every coin from you because, they are always in need and desire of gadgets, trips, expensive drinks and meals at exclusive high end joints, and upkeep money for their make-ups. You have no option but provide, failure to which she walks away and you loose a "Precious Jewel". Unfortunately for you, all your projects stall, why? all the monies are consumed by her. Economically, a light-skin without brains is a dangerous asset to acquire, an asset that makes you to spend and spend but not invest and invest. An acquisition that comes with periodic joy and pride but longtime suffering and frustrations later in life.

Light-skins without brains have an attitude of "I am pretty and I know it, if you can't provide for me, I will move on to the next guy", this  is "Tell-a-Tell" sign of an economic saboteur. Kindly wachia Sponsors (Leave this to some sponsors who have money to waste and spend)... the joy of your sweat and hustle should be celebrated by another joy of sweat and hustle. (Don't worry if you still don't get it, below is an explanation)

From a business point of view, it is a bad decision to date and marry a "light - skin" without brains and character, who presents only beauty aka "Light-Skin"to the table. This is a certified economic crime, that in the long run will bring financial turmoil, to your life and plunge you into debts.

What you will be trying to do is "an exchange of beauty" and "Money". So, she provides beauty and you pay for it. There is absolutely no problem in providing when blessed but here is the problem.
Her, beauty will fade, but your money will not go without any good reason. The fact is, your income may increase year by year if you spend smartly, but she can't be prettier year after year.

Economically, you are an appreciating asset, and she is a depreciating asset., if you gonna wife her, she must also bring to the table, what will appreciate year after year to make your lives better, year after year. If you going to live and grow old with her, then character should be key, because "Character never depreciates, character stays and becomes a blessing when growing old together" for you wont have to worry about unfaithfulness, no worries about attitude and the love between you two is real and not a "Creation of your Money and wealth"

The world and more so Kenya's living standards are crazy, to lead a good life, its needs two to tangle, two who are ready to sacrifice now for a future good.Again beauty without brains is a waste of resources, what happens when beauty fades a way?

But most importantly? My Pastor taught me to always pray for the Proverbs 31 woman and I have also learned the 10 virtues of the proverbs 31 woman from the Virtuouswoman.org website.
  • Faith – A Virtuous Woman serves God with all of her heart, mind, and soul. She seeks His will for her life and follows His ways
  • Marriage – A Virtuous Woman respects her husband. She does him good all the days of her life. She is trustworthy and a help mate.
  • Mothering – A Virtuous Woman teaches her children the ways of her Father in heaven. She nurtures her children with the love of Christ, disciplines them with care and wisdom, and trains them in the way they should go.
  • Health – A Virtuous Woman cares for her body. She prepares healthy food for her family.
  • Service – A Virtuous Woman serves her husband, her family, her friends, and her neighbors with a gentle and loving spirit. She is charitable
  • Finances – A Virtuous Woman seeks her husband’s approval before making purchases and spends money wisely. She is careful to purchase quality items which her family needs.
  • Industry – A Virtuous Woman works willingly with her hands. She sings praises to God and does not grumble while completing her tasks
  • Homemaking – A Virtuous Woman is a homemaker. She creates an inviting atmosphere of warmth and love for her family and guests. She uses hospitality to minister to those around her.
  • Time – A Virtuous Woman uses her time wisely. She works diligently to complete her daily tasks. She does not spend time dwelling on those things that do not please the Lord.
  • Beauty – A Virtuous Woman is a woman of worth and beauty. She has the inner beauty that only comes from Christ. She uses her creativity and sense of style to create beauty in her life and the lives of her loved ones.
The writer is in no way waging a war against "Light-skins" (In fact he would love to marry one) the writer is giving an economic point of reasoning for couples before they say "I do"

The Perfect Guy was a Fraud!

Author: Nancy B.K Was the story intended for public view?   I am yet to find that out. You see we are all born to be wise by the admonitions taught. The Perfect Guy Movie I once gave up on everything, the work of not becoming myself just to become perfect and looking for the perfect guy. NOTE: If you are looking for the perfect guy, then you need to watch some thriller called ‘The perfect guy’ … forgetting that we are the ones to make our partners perfect because Mr.  & Ms. Perfect don’t exist, save for movie scripts and Mexican soap operas. You know the likes of Alejandro & Maximiliano from the soap operas. They say everyone is perfect in their own way but “my way” I still don’t know where it lies because as I came to learn Nobody’s perfect. Let’s say it’s because I haven’t got my ‘Mr. Right’, but is there really such a thing like a perfect partner? Maybe there is one out there perfectly created for me. Let me tell you of one, Alex “my ideal perfect ...

At My Pace, At My Time...

At My Pace, At My Time! No sweetheart, am never ever going to settle for anything less, I know my worth and am not ready to settle down with someone just because you think am becoming of age and end up spending the rest of my life being miserable. That is the reply I always give to one my best friend who always nags me to get a man and l start dating.     She is just barely twenty four years old and you can be surprised how she is so sure that by the time she will be my age, she will be married and almost popping out her first born. I always shake my head, if only she knew how cruel love is, it is not that simple as she tends to think. You see, am twenty seven years old, in four months’ time, I will be turning twenty eight years old. The African custom has always dictated that once a lady hits the age of twenty five, she should be gearing up for marriage. Dare you get to your thirties and you still single, the looks you get when you go for the get togethe...
