Her So Far Away!

In Her Own World
Life has always been a journey, a journey with lots and lots of challenges. A journey with both success stories and failure. A journey for the strong and the weak where time and chance happens to both but only the smart ones sail through.

Look, on this journey of life, in my daily hustles and bustles, I meet lots of people, people who have had positive and negative impact in my life, in equal measures. And NO, my story is not on that line. My story is on "HER." Look, on this day I am walking out of my place of work and I spot  HER. You see, men can point out pointees amidst the crowd. True story; a pointee is a pointee if only she behaves like a pointee... so here I am stranded looking at this pointee, and yes, magic happens I get a smile.

True to my male genes, by a split of a second I had her phone number, I had her name. Bingooooo!! I just scored. Couple of days later, thanks to WhatsApp, we were best friends, just like that, that's how it happened.

Her So Far Away! You see when you spot a pointee, and imagine, you are the first one to be in her life, you are bewitched honestly. Bewitchment? I don't really know but that sounds a good explanation for any man who meets a beauty queen and in his imagination, the queen belongs to him as if other team mafisi are asleep.

So I got this invite to "HER" house,  one word "Magnificent" class, taste, top notch! I am informed each item is a gift from friends yeah,  admirers, suitors, etc. And No, my gift isn't yet in her living room, she says our friendship is the best gift that ever happened to her (Men, no matter how much you spend on her, if you are not a good friend, you remain part of the gift contributors)

Now, amidst all this beauty, amidst all the gifts, amidst her top notch cooking skills amidst all this queue of men always talking about her, amidst all the Team Mafisi strategies, she has always remained "HER", she has build a brand around her name. I bet you've ever met this kind of people who are so free with you and everyone else can't figure out how the two of get along? Yet they can't even get closer to her? More so, the opposite sex?

How could such a queen just manage to keep away the feared team mafisi? Just how? Then I learnt that to be part of team "HER SO FAR AWAY", you must have the following qualities

  • NO NONSENSE
  • Emotionally stable
  • Brings out the best of everyone
  • Great Confidence
  • Speaks out her mind
  • Very respectable
  • Very principled and you out if you break her principles
  • Keeps her cool in arguments
  • Her partying days are behind her
  • Sense of humor
  • SHE CAN COOK!!

Her So Far Away? Me So near, so near her!
