THE POTTERHOUSE SCHOOL: Looking for a Christian school for your kid? Here we go, The Potterhouse is a Christian international day-school serving approximately 500 students from Kindergarten to Year 11 and was established in the year 2002 in Nairobi's Runda area.

The school has a kindergarten, primary and secondary following the British National Curriculum that prepares students for the IGCSE examinations.

SCHOOL DIVISION
KEY STAGE 1- Kindergarten: The Early Years section caters for children aged 1.5 - 5 years, providing a carefully planned induction to the British National Curriculum divided into: -
• Peach Class: Comprises of 1.5 - 3 years old,
• Pear Class: Comprises of 3 - 4 years old,
• Melon Class: Comprises of 4 - 5 years old
KEY STAGE 2 - Primary: The school provides a stimulating learning environment that is bright, colorful, and well-resourced where the British National Curriculum's core subjects of Literacy, numeracy, and Science are taught. They consider a good command of the English language to be central to the whole process of education, communication, and future examination success
KEY STAGE 3 - High School: This commences with the one year Pre-IGCSE Year 9 program, leading into the two years of the IGCSE course during Year's 10 and 11. Upon successful completion of the IGCSE examinations, pupils can progress to take their AS and A-level courses in Year's 12 and 13 (which are currently not on offer at Potterhouse School) before moving on to universities across the globe
NOTABLE SERVICES
▪Monkeynastix: A physical education program that uses creativity and movement to achieve physical development goals for children ages 1-8 years. The session includes warm-up to music, stretch, and tone, and working with specialized, age-appropriate equipment
▪Coding: This entails programming where your kid will learn how to code through language levels. They will experience 12 coding puzzles – giving your first-time coders a basic introduction to important coding concepts like sequencing and loops. Kids will start with beginner levels to intermediate level and finally to the advanced levels.
▪Music: Their Music department is currently offering a variety of instrumental lessons at 12500 Kes, listed below with an option to contact the music club coordinator if the preferred is not listed,
Piano, Drum set, Violin, Voice, Guitar, Trombone, Clarinet, Trumpet, Saxophone, Flute, and Recorder.
